James Kepple
James Edward Kepple, 87, of Worthington, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
He was born Aug. 27, 1935, in East Brady, and was the son of the late Charles and Vernie (Crawford) Kepple Sr.
He was a laborer at Penreco for 34 years.
James was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adrian.
He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He liked playing 500 rummy, and reading the newspaper and watching the news. He also enjoyed camping and holidays at the campground.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Kepple of Worthington; his daughter, Deborah Midock of Indiana, Pa.; his sons, Robert Kepple and James (Sheli) Kepple of Florida; his daughter, Lori Huey of Texas; his brother, George Kepple of Butler; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Charles Kepple Jr. and Don E. Kepple Sr.; and his sister, Kathleen Double.
KEPPLE — Friends of James Edward Kepple, who died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville.
Additional visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Vatalare officiating.
Interment will be held in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
