Larry C. Mainhart

Larry C. Mainhart, 68, of Butler, passed away on Aug. 15, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

He was born May 25, 1954, in Butler, and was the son of the late Craig Mainhart and the late Mary (Abranovich) Mainhart.

Larry graduated from Butler High School. He received an associate degree in industrial maintenance from Butler County Community College.

Larry worked for Keffalas Construction, Spang for 10 years, and Armco/AK Steel for 30 years, retiring in March of 2016.

He was as an avid outdoorsman, woodworker and furniture builder.

He is survived by one son, Justin Mainhart, of Butler; two grandchildren, Michael Mainhart and Ashlyn Mainhart; one brother, Robert Mainhart of Butler; one niece, Alisha Kunselman; and one nephew, Cheyne Kunselman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Mainhart, whom he married in March of 1974, and who passed away on Oct. 6, 2018; and one sister, Barbara Mainhart.

MAINHART — There will be no public visitation or funeral services for Larry C. Mainhart, who died Monday, Aug. 15, 2022.

Arrangements were entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heath Township Sportsman Club, 2414 Pine Run Road, Sigel, PA 15860.
