Marion Cannon
Marion E. Cannon, 75, of Butler, passed away Monday morning, Aug. 15, 2022, while residing at Magnolia Place of Saxonburg.
She was born Oct. 12, 1946, in Sewickley, and was a daughter of the late Frank Patterson Sr. and Louise (Day) Sigler.
Marion graduated from Stowe High School in 1965, and had worked as office manager for Kelly Chevrolet in Butler for 27 years.
She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler, and was an avid reader.
Surviving is her husband, Patrick J. Cannon, whom she married Sept. 4, 1965.
She is also survived by her children, Michael (Beverly) Cannon of Butler, Patrick J. Cannon Jr. of Arden, N.C., and Jennifer (Sean) Powell of Butler; six grandchildren; her siblings, Frank “Butch” Patterson Jr., George Patterson, John Hirko, Mary Lind, Dorothy Bauman and Sandra Hinterlang.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, George Sigler; and an infant daughter.
CANNON — Friends of Marion E. Cannon, who died Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.
Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Parish Cemetery.
