Lloyd Hall
Lloyd Norman Hall, 88, of Fombell, passed away on Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, while under the care of Carriage Manor in New Castle.
Born March 14, 1934, in Franklin Township, he was the son of the late Norman E. Hall and Agnes F. Marburger Hall.
Lloyd was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served as a weapons technician.
He was a member of Camp Run United Presbyterian Church in Fombell, having served as an elder and trustee, and was on numerous committees. He and his wife, Ethel Mae, owned and operated Hall’s Im-Pruv-All, Hall’s Countryside Services and Hall’s Lawn Services.
Lloyd was a member of many community organizations, including the Harmony/Zelienople Kiwanis Club, and the Harmony/Zelienople Chamber of Commerce and Business Association. He served on the board and was chairman of the Salvation Army-Harmony/Zelienople unit. His life was totally dedicated to helping people.
Lloyd will be remembered as a faithful and loving husband to Ethel Mae, and as a soft-spoken man of faith, who devotedly served his community.
Lloyd leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother, Thomas Hall of Beaver; sisters, Nadene Brown of Arizona, and Rita Richards of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ethel Mae Lauten Hall, whom he married on Sept. 5, 1958, and who passed away on Oct. 3, 2020; brother, Lee Hall; and sisters, Myrna Swick and Ruby Summer.
HALL — Friends of Lloyd Norman Hall, who died Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Friday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
Lloyd will be laid to rest with his wife at Camp Run United Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Fombell.
