Malinak

Carolyn Marie Malinak, 78, of Butler, passed away Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 1, 1943, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Emily Pauline Valentine Bopp.

A 1961 graduate of Butler High School, Carolyn was employed as a clerk at the former Woolworth’s store and later at the former Stop’n Go store, both on Main Street in Butler.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

Carolyn is survived by one son, Christopher R. Malinak of Butler; a sister, Patricia Burns and her husband William, of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dean Malinak, who passed away April 7, 2011; five brothers; and two sisters.

MALINAK — Friends of Carolyn Marie Malinak, who died Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave., Butler.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
