Ralph Stanisky
Ralph A. Stanisky, 74, of Saxonburg, passed away at his home on Aug. 5, 2022.
Born Oct. 29, 1947, in Russellton, he was the son of the late Joseph Stanisky and Mary Murin Stanisky.
Ralph was a passionate and dedicated family man, who loved helping others. He loved family dinners, animals and being active in the local community.
Ralph was a graduate of West Deer High School and Point Park University, and he proudly served for six years in the U.S. Army as a military police specialist.
Following his service in the Army, he worked at Allegheny Ludlum for 16 years in the special projects technical department. In 1983, he purchased a cloth diaper service and later transitioned it into a supplier of health care products. Ralph, along with his wife, Virginia, were the owner/operators of what became known as BDS Personal Care Products. His true passion was helping people in need, of which his business was a shining example. Helping local veterans, people with disabilities and the community were always near to his heart.
His most cherished time was spent with his grandchildren and family at his cottage on Canadohta Lake, fishing, boating and relaxing.
Ralph was also an active member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, where he was a dedicated usher and parish member.
Surviving is his loving wife of 53 years, Virginia Grubbs Stanisky, whom he married on Sept. 20, 1969; his daughters, Pam (Bryan) Ritzert of Saxonburg, and Cristina (Doug) Jackson of Valencia; and his grandchildren, Cloe, Camden and Dylan Jackson, and Catrina, Brianna and Amber Ritzert.
