The Family Life Center of Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Road, Sarver, will host a blood drive from 1 to 7 p.m. Aug. 25. Appointments are recommended.

To schedule an appointment, visit donateblood.centralbloodbank.org and choose “donor login” if you have donated with Vitalant or the Central Blood Bank before. If you have not donated with Vitalant or the Central Blood Bank previously, choose “new donor.” At the “schedule your appointment today” screen, scroll down using the far right scroll bar and enter group code C664 to schedule your donation. If you cannot schedule online, call 412-209-7000.

Vitalant will send donors a $6 prepaid gift card to help pay their gasoline costs, and donors will be entered for a chance to win one of five $3,000 prepaid gift cards.
