Zelienople library begins book club for struggling readers

ZELIENOPLE — The Zelienople Public Library, 227 S. High St., is beginning an Accessible Reading Club for children ages 5 to 12 of all reading ability levels. The ARC will meet weekly at 4:30 p.m. Mondays.

This non-traditional book club is designed for struggling readers, readers with disabilities and reluctant readers. Participants will not be asked to bring prepared readings for discussions like a typical book club. Sessions will include learning how to find reading materials at the library that reflect their interests and ability levels, and practicing their independent reading skills with group support.

This program is on a drop-in basis. No registration is required. For more information, call the library at 724-452-9330.
