Ronald Haught Sr.

Ronald LeRoy Haught Sr., 83, of West Deer Township, passed away at his residence, with his wife at his side, on Friday, July 22, 2022.

He was born in West Deer Township on July 7, 1939, son of the late William Ray and Marie Margaret (Fredley) Haught, and has been a lifelong resident.

Ronald was a senior technical assistant for PPG, Creighton and Neeley Industries, Butler. He had a passion for running his family farm and raising cattle, pigs and chickens. Ronald was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He constructed his own hunting camp near Brookville and enjoyed helping others in the area. Ronald was a United States Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carole Lee (Walters) Haught; a daughter, Cheryl (Joseph) Huf of Butler; two brothers-in-law, Mark (Cathy) Walters, who was like a son to Ron, of West Deer Township, and Keith Austin; a sister in-law, Gail Bowser; a daughter in-law, Betty Haught, of Cowansville; grandchildren, Bethany Tahon, Joshua Tahon, Kelsey Huf and Christine (Winston) Parrish; great-grandchildren, Evan Tahon, Cassius Haught, Raylee Parrish, Destiny Haught, Kasiyah Huf and Korbyn Huf; and nieces and nephews, Shannon (Scott) Amrhiem, Michelle (Clint) Lumnus, Bonnie (Bill) Cousins, David (Sally) Haught, Darrell (Cathy) Haught, Clint Austin and Craig (Alex) Austin.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Ronald LeRoy Haught Jr. and Jeffery Haught; a grandson, Ronald LeRoy III; and siblings, William Haught, Wayne Haught and Judith Austin.

HAUGHT — Friends and relatives of Ronald LeRoy Haught Sr., who died Friday, July 22, 2022, are invited to attend visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2022, at ADAM SIEMIANOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 179 Starr Road, Russellton.

Funeral services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Henry officiating.

A private burial will be held after the service. Ronald will be laid to rest at Bull Creek Cemetery, West Deer Township.
