According to a news release, the Manatee County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office arrested Charles Shadrach, 29, of Bradenton, Fla., pictured above, in relation to the death of a 67-year-old man.

A former Butler man was allegedly shot and killed Saturday in Bradenton, Fla., by his daughter’s boyfriend, according to multiple reports.

According to a news release, the Manatee County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office arrested Charles Shadrach, 29, of Bradenton, Fla., in relation to the death of a 67-year-old Bradenton man.

A family member has identified the deceased as Karl Goettler, who graduated from Butler High School in 1973 and whose father served with the Butler City Police.
