Knoch School District officials are reminding parents that the waiver that covered the cost of school lunches for the last two school years has ended, meaning free meals for all students will no longer be available.

Families who need free or reduced-cost lunches for their students must fill out a “household application” and return it to determine if they meet eligibility requirements.

Even families who received free or reduced school lunches in the past are required to fill out and return the application.

Applications are available online at compass.state.pa.us, and paper applications are available for printout on the district website’s homepage, under “Free/reduced meal information.”
