BASH partners with Alzheimer’s group on beer
The Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is partnering with the Butler Area Society of Homebrewers (BASH) to create a purple beer for Pittsburgh’s Barrel and Flow Fest on Aug. 13.
From noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, members of both organizations will come together at 110 Greystone Lane to network, prepare for the festival and reflect on the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association, which is to lead the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
“We were set up to work with the Alzheimer's Association by the Barrel and Flow Festival organizer, Day Bracey,” said Nick Smith, Butler Area Society of Homebrewers.
