Vinroe

Gary L. Vinroe, 67, of Butler, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022.

He was born in Butler, on Aug. 22, 1954, and was the son of the Late A. LeRoy and Winifred (Brewster) Vinroe.

Gary was employed as a flooring installer for over 50 years, and was the owner/operator of Vinroe Carpeting and Decorating.

He loved gardening, canning and cooking. Gary was known to be hardworking, loving, caring, and a good father and husband. He was loved and will be forever missed.

Gary was the beloved husband of Katy (Kovach) Vinroe, since their marriage in 1974; father of Gary Vinroe Jr; brother of Judy O’Harrow, Joan (Ted) Goodridge, Donna Davis, Gwen (Jim) Coltz and Kevin (Leslie) Vinroe; grandfather of Kenlin, Veronica, Austin and Joan; and great-grandfather of Abigal, Molli, David, Emily, Violet and Jayce.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Marie Sumney.

VINROE — Family and friends of Gary L. Vinroe, who died Monday, June 27, 2022, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Faith Fellowship Church, 200 Faith Way, Butler.

A funeral service will immediately follow in the church.
