King

Robert O. King, 96, of Cabot, passed away on June 26, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born Dec. 11, 1925, in New Stanton, he was the son of Oliver R. King and Olive Espey King.

Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, in Guam and the Mariana Islands.

He worked as an electrical inspector for Middle Department of Fire Underwriters.

He was a Mason.

Bob enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting, fishing, traveling, sports, woodworking, playing pool and attending family gatherings.

Surviving are two sons, Robert A. King of Allison Park, and James King of Michigan; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 75 years, Delta Jaunita King; and his sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Hart.

KING — There will be no visitation or services for Robert O. King, who died Sunday, June 26, 2022.

Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
