Vera Linthurst
Vera H. Linthurst, 87, of Butler, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 23, 1935, in Middletown, Pa. She was the daughter of the late William J. and Elsie (Brooks) Mathues.
Vera was employed as an LPN until her retirement.
She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Butler. Vera was a member of the Legion of Mary and also served as a Eucharistic minister. She was a volunteer docent and contributor to the Maridon Museum of Butler.
Surviving are one son and one daughter, William J. Linthurst III of Butler and Dolores Marie Linthurst of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William J. Linthurst, who died Aug. 22, 2007; and a daughter, Pamela Ann Linthurst, who died March 3, 2012.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at All Saints Parish, St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 1660 N. Main St. Ext., Butler, with the Rev. John Baver as a celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
