Stoops

Francis Stoops, 91, of Quality Life Services, Grove City and formerly of Boyers, passed away June 13, 2022.

Francis was born on Sept. 10, 1930, and was the son of the late Albert and N. Violet Dickey Stoops.

Francis was an avid reader, and he loved to visit his family’s cottage at Canadohta Lake. He loved plants and especially enjoyed growing flowers. His special cat, Jake, was his best buddy.

Loved ones left to cherish Francis’s memory are his siblings, Jean Betros of Boyers, Donald L. Stoops of Florida, and David L. Stoops and his wife, Kathy, of Harrisville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Francis was welcomed into Heaven by his parents; and his brother, James A. Stoops.

STOOPS — A private family service will take place for Francis Stoops, who died Monday, June 13, 2022.

Burial took place at Annadale Cemetery in Boyers.

The JAMISON-MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME in Harrisville is assisting the family with arrangements.
