Butler Health System gets new doctor of osteopathic medicine
Dr. Jessica Peek, doctor of osteopathic medicine, joined BHS Primary Care in June and is accepting patients at 1651 N. Main St. Extension.
A Monday news release from Butler Health System said Peek received her medical degree from DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tennessee and completed a family medicine residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Mich. She is board certified in osteopathic family medicine, specializing in children and women’s health and also practices osteopathic manipulative medicine.
Peek is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Family Medicine Education Consortium.
Peek will also become assistant program director of the upcoming BHS Family Medicine Residency program, and will work alongside its founding program director, Dr. Joseph Dougherty and Dr. Michael Fiorina, vice president of medical education.
