Kelly Hester McMahan, 62, of Cabot, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2022, at UPMC Passavant Hospital after a brief illness.

Born Jan. 29, 1960, she was the daughter of Darrel Hester and the late Louis Hester.

An independent, hard-working single mom whose life was devoted to her daughter, she built a beautiful home and created wonderful adventures and memories with Lauren throughout the years. Through her accomplished sales career, she received many awards for her dedication and creative expertise. In her most recent years, the focus of her passion was managing the Field House restaurant and bar, where she shared wonderful times with her loyal customers.

To hold her memory is her daughter, Lauren (Kurt) Savage; “Oma” to her grandson, Steele; her beloved mother; sister, Kim Hester; dear friend, Jay Thrower; and cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Hester, as well as many cherished animal friends.

MCMAHAN — Friends of Kelly Hester McMahan, who died Friday, June 3, 2022, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
