Donald C. Arthurs, 60, of McCandless, formerly of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

He was the son of Betty (Loncaric) and Donald Arthurs.

He was the beloved husband of Susan Berneburg; brother of Karen (Ken) Smith; stepfather of Christine Kavalis; uncle of Paul (Lauren) Smith, Kurt (Madison) Smith, Kayla Smith, Andrew Barnes, Ashley Barnes, Adam Barnes and Amber Barnes; and the proud doggy dad of Benny, Briella and many others.

Donald was proud to be a manager at Giant Eagle. He was also a former master printer for the Tribune-Review.

Donald loved hunting and motorcycle riding, and recently discovered his love for camping at Mountain Pines. He was an avid volunteer for Animals Friends.

ARTHURS — The family of Donald C. Arthurs, who died Wednesday, June 1, 2022, will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 388 Center Ave., West View, where a blessing service will be held following visitation at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
