Phyllis Crawford
Phyllis Marilyn Crawford went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 29, 2022, in Oneonta, Ala., surrounded by her loving family.
Born Dec. 28, 1932, in Winfield Township, she was the daughter of Philip Bauer and Esther Kroneberg Bauer. She graduated from Winfield-Clinton High School of Clinton, Pa., in 1951.
Phyllis was a homemaker most of her life, having taken care of her husband and children.
She was a longtime member of the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church. Phyllis was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was an official in her Harrison Township election precinct.
Phyllis enjoyed crafting, gardening and taking trips to the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
Surviving are her children, Diane (Don) Housler, Douglas (Cristina) Crawford and Denise Heinle; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brother, Wayne Bauer of Cabot; and her sister, Eileen Bauer Crawford, also of Cabot.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Plummer Crawford; her daughter, Vanessa Lee; one grandchild; two sisters; and one brother.
CRAWFORD — A memorial service for Phyllis Marilyn Crawford, who died Sunday, May 29, 2022, will be scheduled at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of JOHNS-RIDOUT’S FUNERAL PARLORS, Birmingham, Ala.
In lieu of donations, the family suggests performing a random act of kindness in celebration of Phyllis.
