Aaron Butler

The Knoch High School commencement ceremony will be at 7 pm. June 3 at the Knoch High School Stadium,

The student speakers will be Aaron Butler, Elyse Chess, Nicole Critchlow, Nicholas Dellarosa, Dade George and Brooke Lassinger.

Aaron is the son of Garett and Amy Butler of Saxonburg.

He is secretary of the National Honor Society. He plans to attend Hamilton College and major in environmental science or physics.

Elyse is the daughter of Amy and Dan Chess of Penn Township. She is a member of the cross country and track & field teams, Science Club, Spanish Club, and the National HonorSociet. She is National Merit Commended Student, Ayn Rand Anthem Essay Contest Finalist,Congressional App Challenge Winner and CMU Python Creative Task Winner.

She plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh and major in mechanical engineering.

Nicole is the daughter of Mike Critchlow and Paula Bauer of Saxonburg. She was a member of the volleyball and cheerleading teams, Student Council, Spanish Club and the National Honor Society.

She plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh as a pre-sports medicine major.

Nicholas is the son of David and Karen Dellarosa of Saxonburg. He was a member of the National Honor Society and captain of the varsity soccer team.

He plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh and major in engineering.

Dade is the son of David and Stacey George of Butler. He is a member of the Robotics Club, the soccer team, the National Honor Society and the German Club.

He plans to attend Penn State University’s main campus as a mechanical and nuclear engineering major.

Brooke is the daughter of David and Darla Peters and Jason Lassinger of Butler. She participated in school plays and was a member of the Reading Club, National Honor Society,Spanish Club, Science Club, History Club and Class Cabinet. She was won a first-place in a congressional app challenge, an AP Scholar Award, took first place in a Carnegie Mellon University Create Task, as well as winning a Young Writers Creativity Award and a California University Exemplary Student Honor.

She plans to attend Seton Hill University as a forensic science major.

The class officers are: Brooke Lassinger, president; Ava Fields, vice president: Mia Savannah, secretary; Lauren Schriner, treasurer.
