1 dead in Slippery Rock Township crash
A woman from Volant died in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on Route 19, just north of Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
Slippery Rock Township Volunteer Fire Department Chief Charles Peak said a box truck and an SUV collided just after 3 p.m., and that there was entrapment.
“State police are doing a full investigation on what happened,” he said.
Shenango Area Fire District, Taylor Township, Noga EMS and Butler Area Station 24 responded to the accident.
