Lucille and Ron Kummer

Ron “Punkin” and Lucille “Jeanne” Kummer will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner Sunday, May 22 at the Butler Elks lodge.

Kummer married the former Lucille Rocco on May 19, 1962, at St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, Meridian.

They have four children, Ron Kummer II, North Hills; Ginger Kummer, Butler; Andrea Hutchens, Lyndora; and Rena McClaine, Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Kummer is a retired electrician with AK Steel.

He is a member of American Legion Post 778, Lyndora.

Mrs. Kummer is a retired bartender with the Crossbow Lounge, Lyndora.

She is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 778.

The Kummers are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, Meridian.
