Armco Credit Union presented Quality EMS with a $1,000 donation during EMS Week, which runs from May 15 to 21, to help the nonprofit organization kickstart a capital campaign, and to help raise funds for a new ambulance.

The Mars branch of Armco Credit Union will host a fundraiser from 1 to 6 p.m. June 2 to benefit Quality EMS. Activities will include food trucks, kids entertainment and a free child safety seat check. The Butler County armored tactical vehicle will be on display.

A basket raffle is in progress at the Mars branch featuring Pirates tickets and a weekday foursome at Olde Stonewall Golf Club. All proceeds benefit Quality EMS.

Quality EMS will conduct a Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED Certification Course from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mars branch. This American Heart Association course is for anyone with little or no medical training.

Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card valid for two years. Cost is $20 and includes AHA materials and lunch.

Space limited to 18 students. Registration deadline is Thursday. Call the Mars branch at 724-779-9090.
