Carol A. Bosancic Lindner, age 84, of Cranberry Township, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, while under the care of Concordia of Cranberry and Concordia Villa of St. Joseph in Baden.

She was born Dec. 5, 1937, in Rochester. Carol was a longtime member of Hope Lutheran Church in Cranberry Township.

She enjoyed her job at Kmart and made many lifelong friends during her time there.

After retirement, she enjoyed sewing, crafts and painting. She grew beautiful orchids and many other flowers.

Carol was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, George E. Lindner Jr.; her parents, Frank and Ruth Bosancic; and three sisters.

She is survived by her son, George Earnest “Earnie” Lindner III of Cranberry Township; her daughter, Robin (Gary) Hay of Economy; her grandchildren, David (Sara) Hay of Pine Township and Angela (Thomas) Newcomer of Baden; and her great-grandchildren, Landon and Lucas Hay.

LINDNER — Friends of Carol A. Bosancic Lindner, who died Tuesday, May, 17, 2022, will be received on from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Brown officiating.

Carol will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.
