Those interested in the 4,800-mile North Country Trail, which passes through Moraine State Park as it spans eight states, can attend a presentation on the trail at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 at Jennings Environmental Education Center.

Tom Moutsos, regional trail coordinator for the North Country Trail Association, will discuss the popular trail, which is the longest in the National Trails System.

Moutsos will discuss the trail’s history; explain how trails are planned, completed and maintained; and provide fun facts and stories about the trail.

A short hike may be included in the presentation, weather permitting.
