BUTLER COUNTY

The board of commissioners took the following official actions Wednesday:

Approved an agreement with Waynesburg University for an unpaid internship at the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

Approved an amendment to a lease with the Boylan Smith Partnership to raise rent for the Evans City Magisterial District Court to $3,900 per month through March 2026.

Agreed to a rental order form with Miller Mats for new mats at the Cranberry Township Magisterial District Court in the amount of $25.99 every two weeks.

Approved the Butler County District Attorney’s Office request to apply for the 2022/23 Police Traffic Services Grant.

Approved the following contracts for the Butler County Courthouse heating, ventilation and air conditioning project:

With Clark Contractors Inc. as general contractor in the amount of $885,792.

With Schultheis Electric as electrical contractor in the amount of $282,484.

Approved a job order with Clark Contractors Inc. for renovation of the Bureau of Elections’ office in the amount of $24,989.

Approved a quality and compliance services agreement with Southwest Behavioral Health Management in the amount of $165,000 for the year 2022.

Added $2,000 for prevention funding for the Center for Community Resources such that two staff members could attend a conference in State College.

Approved the following agreements with Avanco International Inc. for the Child Accounting and Profile System Application:

$38,250 for 24/7 access for up to 65 authorized users

Up to $50,000 for consulting

$4,462 for Butler County’s share of Child Welfare Information Solution development.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act business associate agreement.

Approved a service agreement with Maximus US Services Inc. to prepare the county’s 2021 and 2022 cost allocation plan in the amount of $14,300.

Reappointed Kathy Luek as Zelienople Area Public Library’s representative to the Butler County Federated Library System Board for a three-year term from 2022 through 2024.
