2 treated for minor injuries after motorcycle, SUV crash
A motorcycle driver and passenger were sent to a hospital after colliding with a vehicle at the intersection of Oneida Valley and Fairview roads Sunday evening.
According to a state police news release, Lane Hughes, 22, and passenger Forristt Hughes, 27, of Shippenville, were transported by Southern Clarion County Ambulance Service to Clarion Hospital for minor injuries.
Police said the crash occurred at 5 p.m. when Sarah Dellich of Hilliards, driving a Ford Explorer, stopped at the intersection then turned left onto Oneida Valley Road. Lane Hughes, driving a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, was traveling south on the road and struck the vehicle on the front driver’s side.
Both Lane and Forristt were wearing helmets at the time. Dellich and her three passengers suffered no injures.
Eau Claire and North Washington Volunteer Fire departments and Karns City Regional Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
