Gail E. Arvay, 70, of Saxonburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born July 27, 1951, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Bosko and Evelyn (Kinser) Bosko.

Gail was a graduate of Butler High School, and also received her bachelor’s degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry Township. Gail was an avid lover of Newfoundland dogs. She enjoyed reading, shopping, antiquing and getting her nails done. Above all else, Gail loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

Gail is survived by her three sons, Randall (Heather) Arvay of Cary, N.C., Matthew (Trish) Arvay of Cranberry Township, and Nathan (Heidi) Arvay of Springdale, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Aidan, Alex, Anderson, Mila, Leyton, Sydney, Cooper and Skylar; one sister, Pamela (Michael) Phillips of Butler; her loving friend, Den Montgomery of Saxonburg; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved Newfoundland, Molly.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her sister, Charlene Robinson.

ARVAY — All are invited to attend a visitation for Gail E. Arvay, who died Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Parkinson of Dutilh United Methodist Church officiating.

A private interment will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
