Mary Jane Karnes, 78, of Connoquenessing, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

She was born in Butler on July 9, 1943, the daughter to the late Chester and Sarah Gladd.

Mary worked for Ames for over three decades. She was a devoted Baptist. Mary loved gardening, canning and bowling. She was loved and will be forever missed.

Mary was the mother of Jacqueline Karnes, Tammy Wagner, Tracy Riddell and Michael Karnes. She also is survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Karnes, and grandson, Austin Riddell.
