PITTSBURGH — Former Slippery Rock University men’s basketball coach Kevin Reynolds has been hired as men’s hoop coach at Point Park University.

Reynolds, 188-109 at The Rock from 2008-18, including six 20-win seasons and three NCAA Tournament appearances, was an assistant coach at Division II Quincy (Ill.) in 2021-22. He was on staff at Division I Texas A&M Corpus Christi for two years before that.

Reynolds replaces former Butler High School boys and girls basketball coach Joe Lewandowski, who recently resigned from Point Park after four seasons as head coach.
