Johanna C. Darr, 47, of Slippery Rock, passed away unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, April 11, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Silver Spring, Md., on Feb. 16, 1975, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Richard H. Werder and Mrs. Dorothy Sennett Werder.

Johanna graduated from Williamsport High School in 1993.

Surviving are her husband, Scott W. Darr, whom she married Oct. 5, 2002; two sons, Nolan and Casey Darr, both at home; two sisters, Heidi Strite (Charles) of Williamsport, Md., and Maria Wolford (Don) of Foley, Ala.; two brothers, Nicholas Werder of Williamsport, Md., and David Werder (Lillis) of Virginia; her mother-in-law, Bonnie Schuster Darr of Gibsonia; and her sister-in-law, Pam Holcomb (James) of Gibsonia.

Johanna was also a devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Karl Werder; her sister-in-law, Sandra Werder; and her father-in-law, Duane “Butch” Darr.

DARR — Friends of Johanna C. Darr, who died Monday, April 11, 2022, will be received from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m. Saturday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
