Hegburg

William G. “Bill” Hegburg, 86, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

He was born in Butler, on Oct. 28, 1935, and was the son of the late George and Dorothy Hegburg.

Bill was a carpenter by trade.

He was known for always eating at Burger Hut and enjoyed football games with his family and friends. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family.

Bill was the father of Tina (Doug) Barger, Dan (Leslie) Hegburg and Tammy (Rob) Double; brother of Norma Steighner and Gerald Hegburg; grandfather of Ingrid (Adam) Peth, Shannon (Jarrod) O’Donnell, Amber (Chris Kelly) Double, Braedon Hegburg, Tyler and Leah.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Janet Hegburg; and eight great-grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol (Dickey) Hegburg, who passed away in 2016; his brother, Press Hegburg; and his brother-in-law, Bo Dickey.

HEGBURG — Family and friends of William G. “Bill” Hegburg, who died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
