Dennis Michael Feltz Sr., 67, of Evans City, passed away Tuesday morning, April 12, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, following an illness.

Born Nov. 15, 1954, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Thelma Sandusky Feltz.

Dennis was a member of St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church in Prospect.

He retired from the Evans City Borough Water Treatment Facility, where he was the plant manager.

In his younger years, he loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed being around people, and he would tell stories and entertain by singing and dancing.

He is survived by his daughters, Laura (Sean) Griffith of Butler, Mary (Eric) Feltz of Butler, and Beth (Tony) Fleming of Butler; and his nine grandchildren, Abbie, Chloe Blue, Lydia, Matthew, Seamus, Aiden, Lennon, Killian and Finn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Feltz; his stepfather and mother, Larry and Thelma Sandusky Feltz Riazzi; a son, DJ Feltz; and his brothers, Vincent “Buddy” Feltz and the Rev. Joseph E. Feltz.

FELTZ — Funeral services for Dennis Michael Feltz Sr., who died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, will be held privately at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.

Private interment will be on the family plot at Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue, Pa.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, 226 Greater Butler Mart, Butler, PA 16001.
