Butler County Community College’s softball team dropped a doubleheader at Allegany CC (Md.) over the weekend, 8-4 and 12-11.

The Pioneers’ (4-4) Bailey Rickenbrode had two singles and an RBI in the first game. Olivia Vissari had a double and two RBI, Amanda Dailey and Brittney Friters a double and RBI each.

Friters had four singles, two RBI and two runs scored in the nightcap. Vissari had a triple, two singles and two runs scored while Rickenbrode getting a homer, single and two RBI. Melius had a double, single and scored two runs.
