Betty Marie (Beggs) Overly passed away April 3, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Betty was born on Feb. 18, 1957, and was the daughter of the late Helen M. Beggs and Albert M. Beggs.

She was married for 32 years to Dennis Overly, and he passed away on Aug. 26, 2019.

Betty was a member of the West Sunbury American Legion Post 243.

She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, nature and bird watching. She enjoyed artwork, often making pictures for her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her three daughters, Crystal (Brian) Neville of Duncan, S.C., Nicole (Rocky) Johnson of Butler, and Stephanie (Neal) Skibicki of West Sunbury.

She also is survived by seven grandchildren, Haley, Dustin, Jocelyn, Kendall, Olivia, Lily and Harper; and two great-grandchildren, Brandan and Vada.

Betty is also survived by two brothers, Charles (Nancy) Beggs and Robert Beggs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; and her brother, Ronald (Dorothy surviving) Beggs.

OVERLY — Friends and family of Betty Marie (Beggs) Overly, who died Sunday, April 3, 2022, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Deb Crusan officiating.

Burial will be held in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
