ASHLEIGH SCHMIDT (Freeport) pitched a one-hit shutout as Penn State Behrend defeated Pitt Greensburg, 13-0, in the first game of a softball doubleheader.

CAMI McNANY (Allegheny-Clarion Valley) had two doubles, stole a pair of bases and scored a run in Penn State Behrend’s 12-2 softball win over Pitt Greensburg in Game 2.

TEDDI ISHERWOOD (Butler) pushed her singles winning streak to eight matches for Slippery Rock in The Rock’s 4-3 women’s tennis loss to West Virginia State. Isherwood defeated Lea Rolland 6-2, 6-1 to improve to 14-3 on the season.

KENNEDY DeMATTEIS (Moniteau) struck out 12 and allowed five hits for Gannon in a 1-0 shutout of Slippery Rock in the first game of a doubleheader.

JULIANNA HUTCHINSON (Slippery Rock) had a pair of doubles and scored a run for SRU in its 1-0, 5-3 softball doubleheader loss to Gannon.

ALYSSA STITT (Karns City) singled and scored a run for Clarion in its 6-3, 10-8 softball doubleheader loss to Indiana (Pa.).

MADDY TEMPLE (Butler) carded a 107 for Grove City in the Wolverines’ 429-456 women’s golf loss to Carlow. Temple’s score led GCC.

RYAN GREER (Seneca Valley) scored two goals and added two assists in Westminster’s 15-7 men’s lacrosse victory over Chatham.

MORGAN PROUTY (Seneca Valley) doubled in the first game for Grove City in the Wolverines’ 5-4, 7-3 softball doubleheader loss to Saint Vincent.

LUKE VITTONE (Seven Fields; Eden Christian) had a double, single and two RBI in the first game, three doubles in the second game as Grove City’s baseball team swept a twinbill from Waynesburg, 4-3 and 21-3.

JESSE CLARY (Cranberry Township; Eden Christian) had a pair of doubles in Grove City’s second-game win.

ELIJAH WHITE (Zelienople; Portersville Christian) pitched six innings for the Grove City win in Game 2, striking out three and allowing no walks.

JACOB SMELTZER (Seneca Valley) led the team with three service aces as the Thiel men’s volleyball team defeated Hilbert, 3-0.

JAMES PARENTI (Moniteau) placed sixth in the discus for Grove City’s men’s track team at Slippery Rock University’s Dave Labor Invitational. His throw was 145 feet, six inches.

ANTHONY KAMENSKY (Karns City) set personal-bests in the 110 hurdles (17.06 seconds) and 400 hurdles (59.99) for Westminster’s men’s track team at the Dave Labor Invitational.

CODY SCHNUR (Butler) had 10 kills for Penn State Behrend’s men’s volleyball team in the Lions’ 3-1 win over Penn State Altoona. The victory clinched the AMCC regular season championship for Behrend.
