Patty Ambrose
Patty Lou Ambrose, 84, of Cabot, passed away on March 31, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born March 18, 1938, in Chicora, she was the daughter of the late Earl Thompson and Helen Miller Thompson.
Patty worked as a custodian for the South Butler School District.
She was a member of Crosswinds Alliance Church. Patty taught Sunday school for 30 years at the Sarver Free Methodist Church.
She enjoyed her family, music, dancing, picnics, birthdays, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and most of all, our beloved savior, Jesus Christ.
Surviving are her loving husband, Edward Ambrose, whom she married July 5, 1956; her sons, Edward E. (Guizhi) Ambrose of Cabot and Jeffery L. (Pamela) Ambrose of Cabot; her sisters, Betty (Stephen) Ambrose of Cabot and Lois Curfman of Sarver; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Earl "Sonny" Thompson.
The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice for their loving care of Patty.
AMBROSE — Friends of Patty Lou Ambrose, who died Thursday, March 31, 2022, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2022, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Linhart officiating.
Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
