SUMMIT TWP — The Donald “Duck” Young Memorial Golf Scramble will take place May 15 at Hiland Golf Course.

The four-person scramble is a fund raiser to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Fee is $70 per person or $280 per team and includes green fees with cart, skill hole prizes and lunch.

Registration is at 6:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. Team prizes, based on a full field, are $500 for first place, $400 for second and $300 for third.

Mars Hall of Fame

ADAMS TWP — The nomination deadline for the Mars Area Sports Hall of Fame is April 15.

The Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who distinguished themselves in athletics during and beyond their years in the Mars Area School District. All 2022 inductees will be honored in September.
