Myrtle Miller, 96, of Sarver, passed away March 31, 2022, at her home.

Born Oct. 9, 1925, in Sarver, she was the daughter of James Mitchell and Myrtle (Wade) Mitchell.

Myrtle worked as a school cafeteria supervisor for Buffalo Elementary School.

She was a member of the PASR, and St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Cabot.

She enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening and reading. She also loved spending time with children.

Surviving are her son, Bill (Donna) Skillen of Sarver; two grandchildren, Kori (Jim) Hill and Clint Skillen; two great-grandchildren, John (Leslie) Hill and Katie Hill; two great-great-grandchildren, Colby and Camilla; and one sister, Grace Maurhoff.

Myrtle was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Leonard W. Skillen and Albert H. Miller; her brother, Jim Mitchell; her sisters, Irene Westerman, Jessie Mitchell, Charlotte Mitchell and Jean Skillen; and her stepson, Richard Miller.

MILLER — Friends of Myrtle Miller, who died Thursday, March 31, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church, with Father Jim Kurtz officiating.

Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
