Zwigart

Anna M. Zwigart, 88, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, passed away Wednesday morning, March 30, 2022, in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.

Born in Pittsburgh, on March 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ardel and Anna Clair Weber.

A homemaker, Anna had attended Holy Sepulcher Church in Glade Mills.

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Tierney (James) of South Park; a son, Robert Zwigart of Middlesex Township; her grandchildren, Zachary and Ashley Zwigart and Jayla Tierney; a sister-in-law, Joan Fisher of Saxonburg; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Zwigart, whom she married on Aug. 24, 1959, and who died on Nov. 20, 2018; her sons, James Zwigart Jr. and Michael Zwigart; a grandson, Austin “AJ” Zwigart; a sister, Helen Witkowski; and a brother, Paul Weber.

ZWIGART — Friends of Anna M. Zwigart, who died Wednesday, March 30, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler (Glade Mills).

Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless Township.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
