Nancy Crandell
Nancy Commons Crandell, 76, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022.
Born Nov. 17, 1945, in Vallejo, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Howard Commons and Maxine Jones Commons.
Nancy received her bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Indiana State University.
Nancy lived all over the world, making her home in places like Japan, Hawaii, California, Georgia, Texas, Maryland, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and finally settling in Pennsylvania.
She was an English teacher and a gifted seamstress. She was also known for her green thumb and loved gardening flowers. Above all, Nancy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed.
Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memory, Stephen L. Crandell, her husband of 55 years; her children, Holly E. Crandell and Jason M. Crandell (Stephanie Scherer); her twin grandchildren, Eve and Zahra Dana; her sister, Pamela Williams; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Sophie.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Nottingham.
CRANDELL — Arrangements for Nancy Commons Crandell, who died Monday, March 14, 2022, were entrusted to BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
