County horsemen fare well

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Embrace The Rust, trained by Aaron Johnston of Evans City, won a $9,000 Conditioned Pace during harness racing action Friday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

Brian Taylor of Prospect and Jennifer Johnston of Wampum own the 5-year-old mare.

Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown drove two horses to victory. He guided Fake Out to his first win in eight starts this season, capturing a $9,500 Conditioned Pace.

Brown also won with Better Than Some, a 6-year-old gelding.
