Walter Vukmanic
Walter M. Vukmanic, 92, of Harmony, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, while under the care of ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in the North Hills.
Born July 7, 1929, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Frank Vukmanic and Mary Capan Vukmanic.
Walt was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.
He was employed as a lab technician by Exxon Corporation.
Walt leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Mary Beth (William) Thompson of Boyers, Walter M. (Stephanie) Vukmanic Jr. of Westerville, Ohio, Donald F. (Cathy) Vukmanic of Pittsburgh, Paul A. (Felissa Mannella) Vukmanic of Redondo Beach, Calif., Michael J. Vukmanic of Pittsburgh, and John M. (Veronica) Vukmanic of Stafford, Va.; his grandchildren, Walter M. Vukmanic III, Michelle Vukmanic, Kenneth Vukmanic, Mathew Vukmanic, Alexis Vukmanic and Paul Thompson; his great-grandchildren, Avery, Channing, Camden, and Ira Paul; and his companion, Yvonne “Bonnie” Meyer.
In addition to his parents, Walt was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Egger Vukmanic, who passed away on Oct. 5, 2001; his sons, Kenneth J. Vukmanic and James J. Vukmanic; and his four sisters and three brothers.
VUKMANIC — Friends of Walter M. Vukmanic, who died Tuesday, March 8, 2022, will be received from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
