Robert Charles Braund, 88, of Mars, formerly of New Brighton and Gibsonia, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, and was reunited with his wife, Joanne, and their three children, who preceded him in death.

He was the loving father of Michael Braund (Diane) and Cindy Parks (Stephen); and the brother of Tom Braund (Carla).

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Bob was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea.

He worked in the financial business.

He enjoyed camp and fishing in Franklin, Pa., with family and friends.

He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

Bob was a longtime member of Salem United Methodist Church, and Masonic Union Lodge 259, New Brighton.

BRAUND — Family and friends for Robert Charles Braund, who died Tuesday, March 8, 2022, will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at GEORGE A. THOMA FUNERAL HOME, 10418 Perry Hwy., Wexford.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
