Cranberry Township

The Board of Supervisors took the following official actions Thursday:

Adopted a resolution executing a grant application to the Pennsylvania Local Share Program for an expansion of Community Park North.

Approved amendments to the township fee schedule to change the following fees: Wireless communication facility license fees; zoning verification letter fees; transportation impact fees; Collection Connection trash tag fees; road occupancy permit fees; law enforcement audio and/or video recordings fee; and unmetered water service rates.

Appointed Tammy Lynd as the township’s deputy real estate tax collector.

Granted preliminary and final subdivision approval, combining two lots on North Boundary Road.

Granted tentative Planned Residential Development approval for a 68-unit apartment building at 1009 North Boundary Road.

Granted preliminary and final land development and conditional use approval for adding an outdoor turf field and parking area at Diesel Sports Complex, 9043 Marshall Rd.

Adopted an ordinance amending the township’s zoning rules pertaining to wireless communication facilities.

Awarded a contract to Vogel Disposal Services for disposal of bio-solids, grit and screening at the Brush Creek Water Pollution Control Facility in the amount of $270,600.

Authorized requests for proposals for a pickleball court building; line painting and traffic markings; and diesel tank and structural steel coating at the Brush Creek Water Pollution Control Facility.

Authorized the following purchase awards:

$75,342.60, to West Central Equipment LLC, for two John Deere 1585 mowers for use by public works.

$61,240.50, to E.H. Griffith, for two Ventrac 4520Z tractors for use by public works.

$161,356.06, to E.H. Griffith, for two Groundsmaster 4500-D mowers for use at the Cranberry Highlands Golf Course.

$32,545, to E.H. Griffith, for true surface frames with inserts for use at the golf course.

$28,292, to Shults Ford, for a 2022 Ford F-150 truck for use as a Department of Fire and Emergency Services response vehicle.

$45,835, to Laurel Motors Inc., for a 2021 Dodge Charger and a 2022 Dodge Durango, for use by the police department.

$38,000, to Whitman Requardt & Associates LLP, for design of a new traffic signal at Route 19 and Short Street.

$5,869, to Witmer Public Safety Group Inc., for 33 Gen5 Glock 9mm firearms for use by the police department.

$21,084.36, to Witmer Public Safety Group Inc., for accessories for service weapons for use by the police department.

$16,500, to PVE LLC, for a stormwater study in the Fox Run neighborhood.

$39,900, to PVE LLC, for a stormwater study in the township’s southwest region.

$20,633, to Jeffrey Associates, for pickleball shades at Graham Park.

$143,000.90, to Mayer Electric Supply Co. Inc., for pickleball lighting at Graham Park.
