Betty LeFevre
Betty J. LeFevre, 94, of Cabot, passed away on March 4, 2022, at the Family Hospice Inpatient Unit at Canterbury Place.
Born July 28, 1927 in Butler, she was the daughter of Victor A. Sasse and Claire A. Craig Sasse.
Betty had worked as a social worker for Catholic Charities.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi-St. Joseph Parish in Cabot, where she had been a Christian Mother. Betty was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary 778, Lyndora.
She enjoyed bowling, and was a member of several area bowling leagues. She loved to dance, watched all sports, baking, cooking and gardening.
Surviving are her son, Gary (Patricia) LeFevre of Cabot; her daughter, Donna (Raymond III) Wilt of Gibsonia; two brothers, Martin (Donna) Sasse of Cabot, and Ronald Sasse of Arkansas; four grandchildren, Ryan (Yissel) LeFevre, Justin (Jessica) LeFevre, Gina (Matt) Wolf and Lisa (Mark) Bowling; and five great-grandchildren, Claudia, Dominic, Christian, Cloe and Mark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert G. LeFevre; and her siblings, Lois Cookson, Esther Raith, Victor Sasse Jr., Donald Sasse, Edward Sasse, Iradell Shuler and Victoria Shuler.
LEFEVRE — Friends of Betty J. LeFevre, who died Friday, March 4, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
A private memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church.
