Cypher

Ruth M. Cypher, 93, of Sarver, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the Embassy of Saxonburg.

Born Feb. 2, 1929, in Rural Valley, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles Snyder and Estella Sprankel Snyder.

Ruth worked at Penn United and the mushroom mines. She was also an Avon representative.

She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Surviving are her loving daughter, Regina M. (Gary) Frain of Sarver; her son, Daniel Cypher of Sarver; her brother, Dwight Snyder of Leavittsburg, Ohio; her sister, Nadine Foster of Richburg, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Cypher; and her son, Eric Thomas.

CYPHER — Friends of Ruth M. Cypher, who died Wednesday, March 2, 2022, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Galica officiating.
