Jared Lee Burtner
Jared Lee Burtner, 35, of Rocky Mount, Va., formerly of Zelienople, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb.19, 2022.
Born on May 23, 1986, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Paul and Sharon (Ertzberger) Boros.
Jared loved the Lord and shared his faith with everyone. He was an active member of Pleasant Hill Church of Rocky Mount.
He was employed at ProAmpac.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt, fish, hike and camp. He also enjoyed carving and picking chestnuts from his neighbor’s tree.
Jared was a member of the notorious “Z-Town Thugs,” his skateboard crew from Zelienople. He also could quote all of his favorite movies.
Above all, Jared will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and his generosity. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Jared leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Serenity Paige Burtner; his parents, Sharon and Paul Boros; his three brothers, Steven Appleton (Jennifer), Shawn Boros (Melody), and Robert Boros (Courtney); his maternal grandmother, Patricia Johnston; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
BURTNER — A friends and family gathering for Jared Lee Burtner, who died Saturday, Feb.19, 2022, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.
