Lorraine E. Dourlain, 81, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born March 28, 1940, in Westland, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Peter Merigo and Elizabeth Bolinger Merigo, and was sixth from the oldest of 21 children.

Lorraine enjoyed doing yardwork, riding on the back of Bill’s Harley, playing bingo and going to the casino. She was a member of the Cranberry Elks Lodge and the Mars VFW.

She loved her two cats, Angel and Precious. Above all, Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Dennis Dourlain, Sue (Jeff) Culp, Michelle Flinner, Lorraine (CJ) Johnson, Albert (Joelle) Dourlain and Christine (Mike) Allan; her 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; her companion of 17 years, Bill Kessler; and five siblings.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; and her husband, Albert Dourlain, who passed away July 28, 2002.

DOURLAIN — Friends of Lorraine E. Dourlain, who died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Reid Moon as celebrant.

She will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Park in Cranberry Township.
